Now when Nokia email messaging is out for a chargable fee – what option we all have ?

As per me Seven service is the best in his class.  except  HTML reading you get every bit of your expectation list. Awesome push service, free of cost, integrate well with E71 email client.

Uploading Pictures From E71 To Facebook – Facebook Email Service

October 1, 2009

facebookThe social networking site, Facebook, has been developed and upgraded from time to time to make it more accessible and user friendly. It offers various instant ways for users to update their profile and upload their photo via their mobile phones. Besides using cellphone, Facebook enthusiasts who are eager and desperate to upload or add photos and videos but can’t access them due to access restriction imposed by the company on social networking sites can do so via e-mail services.

To upload a photo or video to your Facebook account directly via email, users would of course first of all need to sign in their Facebook account, and then click to mobile to go to “Facebook Mobile”.

Symbian Planet – New Theme

September 30, 2009

sp_promo

Well it’s been quite some time since I’ve been able to update you guys with the latest and great rumblings in the Nokia themes.

Nokia has never been known to create nice themes that come shipped with a new device until recently. I’ve always thought the default theme that come build into S60 devices were very dull and plain. Here is a nre theme again by TehkSeven.

SMS Preview for E Series

September 30, 2009

 slider-4

SMS Preview is a free application to download and use from Mobile Nordic. The company is the winner of the 2009 GSMA Mobile Innovation Award winner for Best Mobile Consumer Application with 118 Mobile, a real world directory lookup service.

SMS Preview is one of the great features included in the application that we found a lot of people could use on it´s own, so why not share it for free? Now you can instantly preview incoming SMS messages to see what is sent and who has sent it when the message arrives without a single click!

Save time and effort by not having to navigate to your message folder for those SMS messages that are not important.

  • No more worrying about those nagging “New Message” notifications and wondering what it is about.
  • See message previews for 5-60 seconds on the screen until it disappears or until you double click, the choice is yours.
  • Easy to setup and keep updated. No pain, it just works.
  • See name of unknown numbers in SMS Previews by upgrading if you want.
  • Click Download Now! and save to computerlogotype-1

Getting started with SMS Preview couldn’t be any easier. After installing the application, it starts automatically.

If the application has already been installed to the device or you later wish to change application settings, you can find the application from the main menu or the default folder for installed programs.

Happy to have Nokia 5530 – The Preview!

    September 29, 2009

      nokia5530xm_blue_right_lean-187x300

Last weekend i thought how about  buying something new and exciting for my wife.  And then the Achilles striked and 5530-  Nokia’s new addition to the touch world was in my hand. Cost $ 250 – INR 12500.

     The scoop on the newcomer
I know you all want the skinny on the 5530, but you already know it from the game. Yes, this phone has a large touch screen with tactile feedback (I like to say it touches you back) and no physical keys; a 3.2-megapixel camera and LED flash; Bluetooth, WiFi, and EDGE for all your connection needs; a music player for all the stuff you download from the Nokia Music Store; widescreen video playback at 640×360; hot-swappable MicroSD slot (4GB included); and a standard 3.5mm audio plug for your rocking headsets.

    Unboxing

    In the Box

he brightly colored box that was sent to me was HUGE and completely different than any recent Nokia device that was packed in a very small box. I have no idea why Nokia used such a large box and hope this isn’t what we actually see from the retail package shipping from Nokia USA. There was on a charger and small USB cable in the review box, but listed on the Nokia USA site you should find the following in the retail package:

    • Nokia 5530 XpressMusic
    • Nokia Battery BL-4U
    • Nokia Travel Charger AC-8U
    • Nokia Short Connectivity Cable CA-101
    • Nokia Stereo Headset WH-205
    • Nokia 4GB microSD memory card MU-41
    • MiniDVD
    • User Guide
